Description

The CANUNDA-HP beam shaping optics are used to shape high power continuous wave lasers and can take symmetrical (ring or donut) or asymmetrical shapes, such as a spot followed by a line.

The fully reflective design of the shaping module (MPLC principle) supports very high average powers (16 kW, demonstrated in collaboration with the Maupertuis Institute). For optimal results, the beam shaping module is constantly cooled, minimising thermal focus shift.

CANUNDA-HP modules have been tested in industrial environments with fiber lasers on robot arms. The shaping module can either be placed directly on the laser port and integrate the entire optical chain up to the working plane, or it can be mounted in commercially available optical instruments for collimation and focusing.
