Description
CANUNDA-AXICON has revolutionized the way in which axicons are used for micro-processing. Thanks to its reflective design, the beam properties are far superior to the classical refractive design: a beam without oscillation, much closer to the theoretical profile, is able to be generated through the very precise apex manufacturing; the beam is also free from chromatic dispersion, maintaining the pulse duration, thanks to the lack of transmission through glass.
The CANUNDA-AXICON has already been successfully used in combination with ultrashort pulse lasers for glass processing. It is now possible to find the proper set-up for any given application. CANUNDA-AXICON is available as a standalone optics or an EASY-BESSEL module. The EASY-BESSEL module further simplifies integration in an industrial environment with collinear optical input and output beams, integrated alignment tools, and the ability to easily change the axicon.
