ICS-6 touch screen interlock control system 

The use of interlocks is required for all Class 3B and Class 4 lasers regardless of their application in accordance with EN / IEC 60825-1.

The ICS-6-TSP (Touch Screen Panel), when properly installed, meets the highest possible performance level PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1. It is operated via an external touch screen unit (flush mount), that can be placed onto a wall or door.. The connection to the hardware unit (LMT-ICS-6-SP) comes via an RS232 link. The hardware unit can be placed arbitrary and comes within a separate plastic box. The box contains a 5 A power supply and the connection to all the necessary components.


With this compact, versatile and completely fail-safe laser interlock, you have full control over:

• the activity of lasers via their interlock contacts, power supply and shutter
• mechanical or coded magnetic safety switches
• illuminated warning signs window blinds, curtains and acess doors

The ICS-6-TSP enables to place the operatian and the hardware unit in different places and therefore grants a high flexibility for the installation. Furthermore the modern touch screen panel is easy to clean and to disinfect an therefore serves very well in hospitals.
