Beam shutter

The laser beam shutters of the LMT-LS series are a combination of shutter and beam dump, which can be controlled from the safety control system ICS-5 or ICS-6. They are used to switch off the laser beam during an unauthorized access automatically or manually if the beam is not needed. The shutters are suitable for use with lasers from the current max. 200 W CW-power. The maximum permissible power density amounts 200 kW/m². All shutter series can be used as freestanding shutter for manual or remote-controlled circuit of the beam.
