The optical network monitoring system ONMSi increases productivity and simplifies the management of fiber optic networks with fewer technicians by remote testing and an exact documentation of the installed fiber optic cables. The system identifies and localizes quality deteriorations of the optical fiber exactly and informs the network operator and the manager with detailed information on the fault location. Measurement plans allow network operators to evaluate the long-term levels of the fiber and to implement efficient asset management on this basis.Vorteile
