Laser Safety
The use of lasers involves a number of hazards. Among other things, there is a danger of electric shock due to defects in the high-voltage supply devices, especially if they can come into contact with water (cooling water). In addition, there is a risk of explosion in highly loaded electrical components and pressure vessels, a risk of the implosion of evacuated hollow bodies (laser tubes), a risk of the release of toxins (for example, by thermal decomposition of substances), and a risk of injury to eyes and skin.
